Getting to know Gus Allen
What I like most about the law is
that everyone has access to it and everyone should
be equal in the eyes of the law.
My most rewarding case was
my client's husband was returning from deer camp
when a drunk driver ran into him. He lived for three
months and died from the injuries. I was able to
collect a total of $1.5 million for my client who
was, at that time, a 77 year old widow. She is now
able to spend the last years of her life doing the
things she wants to do. Although she has lost her
husband, she can drive a new car, travel and try to
enjoy the remaining years of her life without
worrying about money problems.
My friends describe me as
honest and likable
My opponents describe me as
too aggressive.
If I had to attempt another profession, I would try
being a doctor because I enjoy helping people.
My favorite quote is
"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again."
My favorite book is
The Pelican Brief by John Grisham.
My favorite sport's team is
University of Arkansas Razorbacks
My favorite music is
"oldies, but goodies."
When not at work, I enjoy
golf |
